This little juggernaut Fynn Ellison just won Best Actor in a Short Film at the Las Vegas International Actors Film Festival for his debut acting role in my film Ollie.
Many kids auditioned to play the part of 7 year old Obsessive Compulsive and Tourette’s sufferer Ollie Cooke, but i couldn’t find “The One”.
With shoot days allocated and crew recruited but no Ollie it looked as if I would have to call off the shoot, Until a DVD R arrived in my letterbox with Fynn’s reading on it…
I knew I had struck kid actor gold!
This guy will do amazing things.
We also recieved the award for Best Acting Ensemble in a Short Film in Vegas.
Getting award news in the morning always puts a spring in my step.
